THE CARINA NEBULA

The Carina Nebula (catalogued as NGC 3372) is a large, complex area of bright and dark nebulosity in the constellation Carina, and is located in the Carina–Sagittarius Arm. The nebula lies at an estimated distance between 6,500 and 10,000 light-years (2,000 and 3,100 pc) from Earth. The nebula is one of the largest diffuse nebulae in our skies. Although it is four times as large and even brighter than the famous Orion Nebula, the Carina Nebula is much less well known due to its location in the southern sky. It was discovered by Nicolas-Louis de Lacaille in 1752.

This Nebula has a brain with as many neurons as stars in the Milky Way, with enough watt power to light a light bulb and with a speed faster than the race cars in the Indy 500!

I always crave to do research for insights. I’m interested in conspiracy theories, the mystery and the paranormal. I’m a binge-watch addict: mostly Netflix shows, anime that I enjoy on Crunchyroll, conspiracies and mysteries on Discovery+ and miscellaneous on YouTube. I get all my news and pop-culture from TikTok. I have a need to know the latest news on video games and tech. (Bioshock is one of my favorites video games). My favorite hobbies are walking, listening to music and sing in the shower. I have a plushie and a Nanci doll collection (from Rolife toy company) . I am currently learning Japanese :) My dream is to live in Japan. I love Venezuelan, Asian, Italian, and American foods ;)

I see tattoos as a form of art and expression so I’m working on building my gallery! I have an anime arm sleeve. Rock is my fave type of music, better if mixed with other styles like rap, BUT I also have love for 90’s to early 2000’s pop music. I fangirl for a J-pop/rock group called MADKID, a Japanese band called The Moment I Decide and two k-pop groups called BTS and Pattern.

I tend to avoid Barns & Noble to not end up buying half the store. My favorite super heroes are the X-men. I admire the beautifully dark and imaginative world of Tim Burton, and I’m a big Harry Potter fan (I’m a Hufflepuff!). I speak 2 languages and I’m a Venezuelan that’s partially Italian.
